George Comes Home

When I was 18 I had my first (and only) paranormal experience.
I went to visit a friend and they were located about a 30 minute drive from my residence. I had my own car and license at the time so I was often the nominated driver.
My friend, Laura, and I drove to the residence on a weekday evening for the reason of hanging out and getting high.
It was nothing out of the ordinary at the time.

I remember sitting with my friends and getting high, drinking alcohol and smoking weed until late in the evening...
My friend Laura said to our hosts, "I swear I just saw somebody in your kitchen...."
The hosts laughed and replied, "LOL, we're the only ones here...
It was probably just George, we've had guests that have claimed to see him before..."

...

Naturally, I was a bit freaked out but there was nothing there ... And so we left it alone...
Apparently 'George' was the name that they had given to their resident ghost after numerous sitings but no concerning events...

Later that night, we ran out of booze...
We've got enough spinach to keep Popeye happy but we've basically run out of fluid.
The hosts pipe up and want to go out to collect some more booze for the guests...
...the guests pipe up and want to go out to collect some more booze for the hosts ...
...ultimately the hosts and guests set off together, at 10pm at night, to go and get some drinks...
...leaving me....
...at home...
....alone ...
... and revelling in the company of "George"...

...

I remember sitting in that loungeroom for no more than 5 minutes before I felt physically compelled to flee the room as quickly as possible...

...it's unlike anything I have experienced and completely indescribable, and is my only experience with the paranormal...
...It was frightening...

I fled the house and entered my car and stayed there until my friends arrived home...
...I'll never forget the feeling of peering into the loungeroom windows from my car and not being able to see anything but feeling like there was definitely something there staring back at me...it was George...

...I don't think he liked me in his home ...

Such fun! Lol
Such innocence.
Such indescribable phenomena...
...Was it real?
Or was it just a delusional vision?...
...I'll let you be the judge ...
